WHY LANA'I

Lana’i is a combination of old traditional Hawai’ian culture, world-class luxury resort accommodations, and great diving. Like the other islands, Lana’i has its own special unique flavor and feel. Once this island was the world’s largest pineapple plantation, but now that the plantation has closed the economy has switched from being agriculture based to tourism. The island of Lana’i is relatively undeveloped as a whole... you have plenty of space for yourself (and a few friends-to-be). There are no stoplights, one airport, one small town, and only about 30 miles of paved road. Thankfully, there are many wonderful dive sites just off shore.

While Lana’i is fast becoming a secret vacation destination for the rich and famous, here at Trilogy Ocean Sports we treat everyone like a celebrity! Lana’i is one of the smallest islands with only around 3000 residents, but don't let its small size fool you – you'll be surprised at how much Lana’i has to offer. Lana’i is known for friendly people, talking story, and keeping alive the traditions of the native Hawai’ian people. If the bustle of Waikiki or Ka’anapali is not for you, or if you just want to discover the Hawai’i of a past generation, then you should seriously consider Lana’i for your next vacation destination.
