Trilogy Ocean Sports is the only dive shop based on Lana`i conducting boat diving operations. We have 2 vessels in our dive fleet: Our primary dive boat is Trilogy 3, a 51 foot sailing catamaran, USCG certified for 49 passengers; and our other vessel is a 32 foot hard bottom inflatable jet boat USCG certified for 24 passengers and capable of 30 knots. While our catamaran is certified for 49 passengers we only take up to 16 divers to afford you the luxury and space you've always dreamed of on a dive boat. The jet boat usually only takes 6-8 divers at a time.
Our vessels leave from Manele Bay small boat harbor which is located in the middle of the southern shore of Lana`i. Since all the major dive sites are on the southern side of Lana`i, you are right in the middle of some of the best diving in Hawai`i! Less than 500 yards from the harbor is First Cathedral, one of the best dive sites on Lana`i, and considered one of the best dives in the world. So this means no long uncomfortable boat rides, just happy bubble blowing. All other dive boats coming to Lana`i all depart from Maui. Not only is it an hour boat ride both ways, but they have to cross the channel between the islands which can be very rough, especially in the winter months.
Because there are so many dive sites on Lana`i, we rotate our dive locations daily so you don't have to dive the same site twice in a week. Check out the weekly dive schedule below for more details.
